Oak & Willow Ink Blue is an original watercolour-on-paper design from the William Morris Gallery archive. Brought to life in a striking palette of deep ink blues, burnt orange and muted slate tones, the colouring accentuates the layered foliage and bold symmetry characteristic of the Arts and Crafts style. Although unattributed, the design is thought to be by John Henry Dearle, William Morris’s chief designer, and shares stylistic similarities with his 1879 wallpaper Acorn. The scale and repeat of the pattern suggest it was intended for use as a wallpaper, though there is no record of it ever entering production. Reimagined for modern living, this design brings richness, craftsmanship and timeless style to your home. Printed on high quality non-woven paper, this wallpaper offers a beautifully smooth finish.
