Acanthus Velvet Nettle Curtains by William Morris At Home

Acanthus leaves decorate many of Morris' designs and take on a central role in his Acanthus pattern for wallpaper. The classic motif is perfect for repeating patterns, and Morris held the belief that larger-scale designs were especially fitting for smaller rooms, as they could create a more tranquil atmosphere compared to denser, smaller patterns. The use of soft tonal shades further enhances the design, infusing it with a sense of gentle movement.
